Sunset Lake Cabin

This place was magical. We loved the private location and the unique bed arrangement was fun for a family with 4 kids. I really appreciated the amount of plush towels and blankets. My kids loved swimming down on the beach and searching for cool rocks.

Great cabin in secluded location

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Quick walk to the beach and such a quaint area. This was our second stay at this cabin. Make no mistake, it is definitely in the woods so you get everything that goes along with it. Bugs, wildlife, and peace and quiet. The beach is a small walk through the woods down a dirt road and off the beaten path. You have to cut through the woods to get to Ripleys Public Beach but when we went a tree had fallen down on the stairs and the were inaccessible. Barcelona Harbor Beach was a short 7minute drive from the cabin and had a sea wall built up so it was perfect for swimming and we would highly recommend it. As always the cabin has everything you need to stay. The only things I wished I had were a duster for outside spider webs, and a washer and dryer. It was quite wet when we stayed and we ran out of warm dry clothes. The supermarket in Westfield is close enough to pick up anything you forget.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful and not disappointed at all. Well stocked and very clean. Will stay again.

This was our first time staying at this location and won’t be our last. We loved the privacy and the furnishings were all like new. We caught more than a few fish during our stay. We also found a fair amount of beach glass.
